Laminated Glass

Laminated glass is made by inserting a strong and thermoplastic resin interlayer (such as PVB or SGP) between two pieces of glass under high temperature and pressure.

Characteristics:

- Highly safe building material

Due to the strong and adhesive interlayer, it is not easily penetrated under impact, and the glass fragments do not easily scatter when broken. Therefore, it has higher earthquake resistance, anti-theft, anti-explosion, and bulletproof properties compared to other types of glass.

- Highly efficient energy-saving building material

The interlayer reduces infrared (heat) from sunlight, which can save on air conditioning and electricity, enhancing the comfort of the living environment.

- Enhances the aesthetic appeal of buildings

Laminated glass with colored interlayers can easily blend with the surrounding scenery and meet the needs of designers.

- Sound insulation

The interlayer has excellent sound insulation effects.

- UV protection

The interlayer blocks ultraviolet rays, preventing damage to indoor furniture, fabrics, decor, and wallpaper.

SGP laminated glass, known as SentryGlas® Plus (SGP), utilizes an advanced ionoplast interlayer for superior performance. It offers exceptional strength, up to 5 times that of traditional laminated glass, enhancing safety and durability. SGP maintains clarity, resists yellowing, and ensures long-term reliability in diverse environments. Ideal for architectural applications requiring high safety standards, it supports design flexibility, energy efficiency, and UV protection. SGP laminated glass is favored for its reliability in structural glazing, facades, and other demanding environments.
